The NWHL returns to action after an off day for teams, which included the release of a new schedule and format to determine the seeding for the Isobel cup playoffs.

The top three teams in the standings, calculated by win percentage will play each other one more time to determine the final standings and seeds for the Isobel Cup playoffs. Minnesota Whitecaps, Connecticut Whale and the Toronto Six are all in the mix. The final two teams the Boston Pride and Buffalo Beauts will square off in a best of three series to determine the fourth and final seed in the playoffs.

On tap for Saturday January 30th, 2021 there will be two games with the Toronto Six taking on the Minnesota Whitecaps. The Boston Pride and the Buffalo Beauts begin their three game series in the first matchup of the day. Both games can be seen on the NWHL Twitch TV channel along with all the action.
