It’s Official, The Toronto Six have won their first game in team history on Tuesday night. The Six defeated the Boston Pride 2-1 with two third period goals for the comeback, the game winning goal was scored by Mikyla Grant-Mentis.

The Pride jumped out to an early lead in the first period with a power play marker scored by Christina Putigna. The game would remain 1-0 in to the third period where Brooke Boquist of the Toronto Six finds the back of the net to tie it up. Then it was Mikyla Grant-Mentis from the Six burying the rebound and giving her squad a 2-1 lead which they held until time expired.

The Toronto Six posted 38 shots and have officially won their first game as a team in the NWHL. Congratulations to the Toronto Six.
