This edition of the Jr Hockey Round Up is the latest on the impact of covid-19 numbers rising around the country.
MJHL
The Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) has suspended the season until 2021. This comes after the PHO recommended a shutdown for all indoor sports and recreation facilities for 1 month. The order is set to be lifted December 11th if all goes well in Manitoba.
KJHL
the Keystone Junior Hockey League (KJHL) has also had to abide by the new restrictions in Manitoba. The Junior “B” League will also be without any on ice time for a minimum of 30 days.
GOJHL
The Greater Ontario Jr Hockey League (GOJHL) has announced that they have had several positive covid-19 tests. This comes only a few weeks away from an expected start date for the league. No indication on any announcements from the league at this time.
The numbers continue to rise around the country as the second wave has hit. Its uncertain at this time as it has been for many months. We will keep you up to date here at Jr Hockey Talk.
