Welcome to the Junior Hockey Round Up for Monday, August 24th, 2020.

GOJHL

The GOJHL (Jr. B) has announced a return to play date of December 2nd, 2020. The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League is one of the first leagues in Ontario to announce a tentative return date.

SIJHL

The SIJHL have announced that Darrin Nicholas will become the Commissioner of the Superior International Junior Hockey League. Nicholas is a Thunder Bay, Ontario native with over thirty years of corporate experience, he also has a long time knowledge of hockey at various levels.

The SIJHL has announced their tentative return to play date will be November 14th, 2020. The Superior International Junior Hockey League under the guidance of its new commissioner will be one of the first leagues to return to action.

MJHL

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has announced that it will return to play as of October 9th, 2020. Manitoba has been ahead of many provinces since the beginning of Covid-19.

OJHL

The OJHL announces another D1 commit as former Wellington Dukes Brett Humberstone will head to Long Island, NY to join the newest addition to NCAA D1 Men’s Hockey.
