Steve Hodson has stepped down as general manager and has also left the Hamilton Kilty B’s Hockey club. Steve Hodson the Kilty B’s former GM for the past couple seasons, has removed himself from the club and he announced it via twitter this morning. In a short post the former gm said, “The Hamilton Kilty B’s and I have parted ways. I wish the players, parents and coaches. Emily and Nike, as well as the volunteers all the best #Playersfirst.”
It will be hard to see Steve go, he has a tremendous eye for talent and his knowledge of the game is outstanding.
Surely Steve Hodson will land a position somewhere in hockey if he so desires. We will have to wait for further announcement from team President and Owner Tim Wilson.
The Kilty B’s only a few games from the playoffs and they are red hot, they have won their last 4 games in a row. Currently 3rd in the Golden Horse Shoe conference in the GOJHL the Kilty B’s will focus on the job at hand, which is reaching the Sutherland Cup.
